History of Denas Color, a.s.

The company DENAS s. r. o., based in Studénka, was established by an entry into the commercial register on 12 March 1991. It was founded by four partners with the intention to be engaged in elevation, varnishing and business work.
By 1 May 1993 the company DENAS s. r. o. had bought the production of water diluted paints for use in construction from the company LEPAŘ Opava. In the following year the production of paints was transferred to Bílovec, and on 8 November 1994 DENAS s. r. o. founded the company DENAS COLOR a. s.; the main object of business of this company is the production of water diluted paints, cements and glues.

The company’s object of business includes these activities:

* production of water diluted paints
* elevation construction work using climbing and speleological techniques
* decorating and varnishing work
* surface finish
* realisation of dampness insulation
* mediation of business and services
* purchase of goods with the intention of their further sale

The production that had been taken over comprised first of all the paints used in building industry, indoors and outdoors. The existing assortment was offering twelve kinds of water diluted paints. In 1995 the company began work on the development of a wide group of paints for steel and reinforced concrete structures, wood, and of paints for various branches of metalworking industry. The result of this development work was the establishment of twelve new paints on the market. After the successful launching of the products, the development of the company did not stop, but on the contrary, this was an impulse for further expansion of the manufacturing programme by new paints, which have been gradually launched to production.
An essential part of the activities of DENAS COLOR a.s. is the realisation of coating, sandblasting and metallisation. For these purposes the company owns specialised workplaces equipped with the most modern technology.
In view of the customers´ demands, the company realises application in the whole Czech Republic.

Currently, the company successfully pursues its business activities, and expands production as well as realisation of surface finish all the time, which can be reflected also by the annually increasing volume of production.
