Urban monuments preservation area Úštěk [ Městská památková rezervace ]
The first mention of the town comes from 1361.
The preservation area is made up primarily of the row of gabled houses on the western side of the square. The oldest houses were wooden, with stone cellars. On the eastern side of the square, Late Gothic houses with an arcade are preserved; at the turn of the 16th century, they were built as two-storey stone and timber-framed gable houses with an arcade at the ground floor level.
A special feature of Úštěk are the 19th century "Bird houses" in Kamenná street.
