Catacombs beneath the Jesuit church [ Catacombs, City´s Underground ]

The last resting place of Jesuits, wealthy burghers and peers of 1676 - 1784, beneath the Church of the Immaculate Conception & St Ignatius. An ingenious system of ventilation shafts keeps temperature and humidity constant, as a result of which the bodies have mummified.
