An idyllic area on the banks of the Úpa, along the mill-race, the Viktorčina weir, the old bleaching-ground, the mill, the Rýzmburk arbour, and the chateau Ratibořice.
It was here that Božena Němcová set her novel Babička ("Grandmother").
