Eva Vaculíková, Handwoven products [ Regionální výrobce nebo produkt ]

Eva studied business and service management in Chrudim. She worked for a few years in the insurance industry and the banking sector. As she says: "It was boring". Later on, she somehow, completely by accident got into hand weaving. After maternity leave and divorce, she was feeling burnt out and was looking for some calming activity. In 2019, she completed a retraining course for wool processing such as washing, cutting, and dyeing which led to weaving products on large looms.

Weaving does not require any electricity, so it is an ecological and nature-friendly activity. The product offer includes earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Accessories from belts to bag straps, handbags to scarves or shoelaces. Pet accessories such as collars, leashes or guitar straps. You will love the original shoelace design.

In 2023, she won second and fourth place in the Czechoslovak weaving competition on the theme of mythology.

Eva can use the Iron Mountains regional product certificate for her products from the autumn certification in 2023.

She makes creative sets of modern weaving by which she demonstrates and teaches minimalist weaving techniques. Dedicated to the non-profit organization Strobilus, which organizes children's camps and weekend stays.
