Lysá hora 1323 m n. m. - královna Moravskoslezských Beskyd

The town hall is one of the most expressive building in the square, with a clock tower and a gallery. At present, it is the seat of the Municipal Authority of Nový Jičín.

The corner dipteral building with three above-ground floors is situated in the south-west corner of the square. It is a renaissance building which was reconstructed radically last in 1929 - 1930. The face of the building is divided by four pairs of windows, the archway is opened by three half-round arcades, the half-round funicular arch has got a passage through a narrow wing above the Lidická street. The plain facade is moulded by a wide six-axis buttress, edged by a crown moulding with narrow attic.

On the ground floor of the entrance hall there is a sandstone polychrome plate, resemblant building the hexagonal bastion in the south-eastern corner of the town walls. The oval heraldry of the town Nový Jičín, laid on a cartouche with stylized rollwerks is completed by a text written in block capitals.

The town hall is probably of gothic origin from the period after the great fire in the town in 1503. However the well-kept masonry and a part of vaults on the ground floor originates from the renaissance construction period after 1586. Other constructional interventions were made after the 30 years war and the great fire in the town in the late 18th century. Another storey was built up as late as in 1881 when the building got its gothic romantic facade. Its present condition is the result of a worthwile finishing of the building from 1929 - 1930, fractional interventions from the mid-1940s.
