Accompanying word (interpretation) is conducted in an entertaining way for children and adults, and is always adjusted to the composition of the specific group of visitors. Guided tour includes:

• exhibits from gingerbread
• reflection on the story about a gingerbread house
and a visit to the enchanted forest where every visitor can experience what it was like when Hansel and Gretel wandered to the gingerbread house. Each visitor also get one piece of honey gingerbread.
While for children there is prepared an unusual reflection on the fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel", adults can enjoy the commentary about the history of gingerbread craft and Pardubice’s gingerbread. Exhibition in Gingerbread house contains over a thousand pieces of gingerbread from the entire Czech Republic. There are mostly the winning works from various competitions. On display there is also gingerbread, which is embossed to the old historical molds. The gingerbread was baked in the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové, as well as in other museums in Jilemnice, Chlumec nad Cidlinou, Klatovy, Velvary, Kladno and Slaný. In our Museum you can also see coloured marzipan, which was produced from wooden molds by Mrs. Jana Heimerová from Paskov. There is also a large gingerbread nativity scene waiting for you, which was baked and decorated by Mrs. Marie Musilová from Trojanovice at Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. We also have a great mold of imperial carriage with gingerbread and marzipan, or Infant Jesus of Prague, which is also made from gingerbread. You will see how gingerbread form the free hand looks like, which was prepared by Julie Chadimová from Strakonice. You will see a lot of wooden molds from Ing.Oldřich Kvapil from Hořice, who in 2003 received a title "The bearer of folk tradition" for its longtime carving work. You will also see how is gingerbread made from these wooden molds.
During the tour we will please all your senses:
• EYESIGHT: looking at more than a thousand beautiful gingerbread
• HEARING: by interesting story,
• TUOCH: by feeling the mold carved from wood,
• SMELL: you can smell honey gingerbread, and
• TASTE: you get a piece of gingerbread, which you can not resist
